1. The service
basis is a subscription platform that gives you an agent (“Basis”) able to turn voice or text instructions into construction documentation and management: budgets, work reports, certifications, calendar, CRM and inbox. These terms are a contract between you and Basis Technologies S.L..
2. Your account
- You must be of legal age and provide truthful information.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the activity of the users you invite.
- Each plan allows a set number of users and active projects; the limits are shown on Pricing.
3. Subscription and payments
- The subscription is billed in advance, monthly or annually, plus applicable taxes.
- The free trial lasts 14 days and includes 200 tokens; no card is required and it does not convert into a paid plan automatically.
- Prices may change; we will let you know 30 days in advance and it will only apply to the next cycle.
- Amounts paid are non-refundable, except as required by law or in the event of a prolonged service failure attributable to basis.
4. Tokens
Tokens are the unit that measures the agent's work and have no monetary value outside basis: they are not currency, they earn no interest and they cannot be resold or transferred between accounts.
- Tokens included in the plan renew at the start of each cycle and do not carry over from one month to the next.
- Top-up packs do not expire while the subscription is active and are consumed after the plan's tokens.
- When tokens run out, the agent pauses new actions; your data and access to the platform are unaffected.
- The indicative cost per action is published on Pricing and may be adjusted with 30 days' notice.
5. Use of the agent
Basis automates administrative work, but the technical and legal responsibility for the project remains yours: review budgets and certifications before issuing them. Do not use basis for unlawful activities, to process third-party data without a legal basis, or to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the models.
6. Your content
Everything you enter or dictate is yours. You grant us only the licence strictly necessary to process it and provide the service. You can export it in standard formats at any time.
7. Liability
basis is provided “as is”, with a target availability of 99.5% per month. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. We are not liable for loss of profit or for construction decisions taken without human review.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel from your account at any time; the service stays active until the end of the paid cycle. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, giving prior notice except in urgent cases. After cancellation, the periods in the privacy policy apply.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, unless as a consumer you are entitled to another jurisdiction.
